Welcome to the Danquah Law Group’s first monthly Attorneys Corner conversation. Attorney Michael Boakye-Danquah is the founding member of The Danquah Law Group. The Danquah Law Group is a unique law firm located in Atlanta GA, specializing in immigration law. Attorney Boakye-Danquah is licensed in the states of Georgia and Missouri, and practices immigration law nationwide. Mr. Boakye-Danquah has been practicing law since the year 2000, and focuses on supporting clients domestically and globally to gain legal status in the United States.

Attorney Boakye-Danquah graduated from Mfantsipim, the esteemed and oldest Secondary school established in 1876 in the Cape Coast Ghana. He entered the prestigious Morehouse College in Atlanta GA for his undergraduate studies. Morehouse College and Mfantsipim were the basis for his life journey to study law and focus on supporting people like him all over the world. Mr. Boakye-Danquah graduated from Morehouse College with pride and with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1986.

Following Morehouse College Mr. Boakye-Danquah continued his studies at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, graduating with a master’s degree in chemistry. He began working for a chemical company as a research chemist developing products such as adhesives and sealants. During that time Attorney Boakye-Danquah attended Lindenwood University in St Charles MO, and obtained an MBA master’s degree in business in 1994. Mr. Boakye-Danquah’s unrelenting educational journey culminated by attending law school at Saint Louis University on a part time basis to begin his studies as a lawyer.

While in law school part time for a period of five years, he continued to work as a chemist and then transitioned into doing product development, and finally doing sales and marketing by the time he graduated from law school in 1999. While in law school and working for a chemical company in Missouri, Mr. Boakye-Danquah obtained two United States patents based on new products introduced to the US market in the year 2000. He concluded by being admitted to the Patent Bar.
